In the UK, there are currently twelve mobile networks that offer a 5G service. The biggest 5G providers are EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Each of them is rolling out their own 5G network, including all of the masts and the physical network infrastructure. Alongside them, eight other mobile networks are also offering a 5G service, making use of 5G coverage from one of the four big providers.

Eastern England
In the East of England, 5G coverage is now available in locations such as Cambridge, Ipswich, Luton, Norwich, Peterborough, Southend-on-Sea and Watford.
In some cases, you might only have a choice of one or two coverage providers at present. However, further 5G network launches are taking place very quickly across 2021.

Unsurprisingly, London has been the epicentre of the UK’s 5G coverage roll out.
All four network coverage providers have a 5G mobile service available in London. However, coverage across the city can still be patchy in some places. For this reason, it’s worth double-checking the coverage for your postcode on the 5G maps from EE, O2, Three and Vodafone.

Hi there,
No, Three are still continuing with their 5G rollout. It’s possible they haven’t yet launched 5G on the mast that serves your area (sometimes this will be due to planning, access requirements, etc). Alternatively, their coverage map is sometimes a little bit outdated so you might be able to get 5G even where the coverage map says you can’t.
