Virgin Media Netflix Deals: Get Netflix Included With Virgin Broadband

Virgin Media offers broadband deals from £27.99 per month, with Netflix ‘Standard with Ads’ included in the price.

For many years, one of the best value ways of getting Netflix in the UK has been getting it together with a Sky TV subscription. Compared to the normal price of £5.99 per month for Netflix, Sky has offered their Sky Stream service together with Netflix for £15 per month (or £35 per month when you add Sky Broadband as well). For someone wanting Netflix with the Sky TV channels, this bundle has offered fantastic value.

As a response, Virgin Media has now added an inclusive Netflix subscription to many of their broadband plans. You can now get Virgin Media broadband with Netflix included for a low price of just £27.99 per month (with prices starting from £36.99 per month if you want the Sky TV channels as well). This is a great alternative to getting a Sky TV subscription, and a good way to save money on your Netflix plan as well.

In this article, we’ll look at Virgin Media’s best broadband plans with Netflix included. We’ll also look at how you can change your broadband provider to Virgin Media.

Broadband Deals with Netflix

As of October 2025, Virgin Media has added an inclusive Netflix subscription to their broadband plans with a download speed of 516Mbps or more (that’s the M500 broadband plan, or faster).

The inclusive Netflix ‘Standard with Ads’ subscription is worth £5.99 per month and allows you to watch Netflix on any compatible device, including your laptop, tablet, smartphone, or smart TV. You can watch it on two devices at the same time, and you can also download shows for watching offline.

At present, you can get a Virgin Media broadband deal with Netflix included from £27.99 per month:

With these deals, it’s worth noting there are a couple of limitations:

1. You won’t get a set-top box with this option. If you’d like to watch Netflix on your TV, you’ll need to use the Netflix app on a compatible smart TV. Alternatively, you can use something like a Fire TV stick, an Apple TV box, or a Chromecast/Google TV device.
2. You won’t get Sky TV channels. If you want the Sky TV channels as well, you’ll need to upgrade to one of their ‘broadband & TV’ bundles (which are listed below). Alternatively, it’s possible to get Sky Stream on a standalone basis to go with your Virgin Media broadband, but this will typically be a more expensive option (and you may end up with two Netflix subscriptions at the same time).
3. There’s a £4pm annual price increase, which takes effect from April. The monthly cost of your plan will rise by £4 per month in April each year. This means after two years, the cost of your plan will have risen by a hefty £8 per month.
4. Although you’re saving £5.99pm, there’s no flexibility to remove Netflix. The saving of £5.99 per month is based on you otherwise maintaining a subscription to Netflix. If you’re someone who normally cancels for a couple of months, and then subscribes only when you have something to watch, your effective saving with the Netflix subscription will be less than £5.99 per month.

Bundles with Netflix, Stream & Sky Channels

For access to more than 200 live channels and an inclusive ‘Stream’ box from Virgin Media, you can upgrade to one of their ‘broadband & TV’ bundles. On these bundles, you’ll get the Sky Entertainment channels included (except from Sky Atlantic which isn’t available on Virgin). You can also choose to take a bundle with Sky Sports or Sky Cinema included.

One of the benefits when getting a ‘broadband & TV’ bundle is that you’ll get the Virgin Media Stream box for your TV. It’s a set-top box that allows you to watch all of your live TV channels and streaming TV content through one combined interface. However, unlike their older boxes (such as Virgin TV 360), it won’t allow you to record live TV. As such, you’re dependent on streaming services to catch-up on TV.

As with their broadband plans, there’s also an annual price rise on the ‘broadband & TV’ bundles from Virgin Media. This is an increase of £4 per month, taking effect from April each year. On top of that, if you choose a bundle that comes with an O2 SIM card as well (such as the Max Volt bundle), there’s an annual price rise of £2.50 per month on the O2 SIM card. Put together, this would give you a total price rise of £6.50 per month every year.

Switching to Virgin Media

If you’re currently using another broadband provider, it’s easy to switch your broadband service to Virgin.

Start by ordering your new Virgin Media plan online. When you do this, you’ll be given a choice of possible installation dates for the service. In most cases, a Virgin Media engineer will be around to install the service for you. However, if your home has previously been connected to the Virgin Media network, it might be possible for you to install it yourself using a QuickStart kit.
