Starting from just £5 per month, ‘Lite’ Pay Monthly plans give you all of the essentials you need including 5G data, with unlimited UK minutes and texts. You’ll also get exclusive offers and discounts in the Three+ app.
The main disadvantage of choosing a ‘Lite’ plan is that you won’t get international roaming included with it. If you want a plan with roaming included, you can upgrade to something like Three’s 40GB for £8 Value SIM with EU roaming included.

Best Three Lite SIMO Plans
If you’re looking for Three’s cheapest SIM-only plans, you can now get a ‘Lite’ Pay Monthly plan from only £5 per month.
In our opinion, these ‘Lite SIMO’ deals are really good plans as they’ll give you lots of data at a very competitive price (e.g. you can get 12GB data for £6, 25GB data for £7, or 80GB data for £8). You’ll also get 5G coverage with Three’s fastest available speeds (including access to Vodafone’s network in many areas, as part of their network sharing agreement). There are also Three+ rewards that can save you a decent amount of money (e.g. with the discounted meals, coffees, and cinema tickets).
Compared to the more expensive ‘Value’ and ‘Complete’ Pay Monthly plans, the main thing you’re missing out on is inclusive roaming. This means you’ll need to pay an extra £2 per day when you travel in most European destinations and up to £7 per day extra when you travel outside Europe. Alternatively, you can of course side-step these charges by getting a different SIM card or eSIM when you travel. You also won’t get Paramount+ included, or the extended handset warranty and screen repair on Lite handset plans.

Keeping Your Phone Number
If you’re switching to one of Three’s Lite Pay Monthly plans, it’s a straightforward process keeping your current phone number.
Start by asking your current mobile network to give you a PAC Code. You can get one by texting PAC to 65075, or requesting one through your mobile network’s website or app.
Once you’ve gotten the PAC Code from your old network, you’ll be able to place your order online with Three. You can either give them the PAC Code when you sign up, or you can wait until the SIM card arrives and then fill out this form on their website.
