Alongside their new one-month rolling plans, O2 also offers Big Bundles on Pay As You Go. You’ll also benefit from the convenience of easy monthly payments.

Rolling Plan Features

No Contract & No Credit Check

O2’s new Rolling plans work on a one-month rolling basis. There are no contracts to sign so you’ll have the flexibility to change or cancel your plan at any time. For instance, you can upgrade to another plan to get more data. Alternatively, you can downgrade to a cheaper plan to save some money.

Compared to regular Pay As You Go bundles, a key benefit of O2’s Rolling Plans is automatic monthly top-ups. Each month, your account will be topped up automatically from a saved credit card or debit card. This means there’s no need to remember to manually top-up your account every month. It’s the same way you’d pay for subscriptions like Netflix and Amazon Prime, and you can cancel the automatic renewal at any time.

As the Rolling plans work on a pre-paid basis, there are also no credit checks required to get one. This means it’s super easy to sign up, without any hassle.

Data Rollover

On O2’s Rolling plans, you can rollover your unused data into the following month’s allowance. This applies to your core data allowance only (it doesn’t apply to the extra promotional data). This means, for instance, you can rollover a maximum of 10GB data per month on the £10 rolling plan.

To give an example, the £10 rolling plan normally includes 10GB data per month. If you were to use just 6GB data in one month, the remaining 4GB would carry over into the following month’s allowance (giving you 10GB of core data, plus 4GB of rolled over data). This means you’d have a total of 14GB data for £10 (10GB core data + 4GB rolled over data = 14GB).

Unlimited UK Minutes & Texts

You’ll get unlimited UK minutes and unlimited UK texts included on all of O2’s rolling plans. This means you can call and text other UK landline and mobile numbers as much as you like.

On the £15, £20 and £30 rolling plans, you’ll also get some international minutes included for calling 42 other countries. There’s 100 international minutes on the £15 and £20 rolling plans. This increases to 500 international minutes when you choose the £30 rolling plan.

O2 Rewards & O2 Priority

As a customer on O2’s Rolling plans, you can get up to 10% of your top-ups back through O2 Rewards. This can be taken once per quarter in the form of Pay As You Go credit. Alternatively, you can save up your rewards to purchase a selected range of discounted goods in an O2 store, for a voucher to use at Ticketmaster, or to exchange for selected high street vouchers.

For your first six months as an O2 customer, you’ll earn 5% back on all of your top-ups. This will increase to 10% once you’ve been a customer for six months.

In additional to the O2 Rewards, you’ll get access to the O2 Priority app. This gives you early access to Priority Tickets at thousands of gigs and events across the UK. As an O2 customer, you’ll be able to buy these Priority Tickets up to 48 hours before general release. There are also exclusive offers and freebies available every week through the O2 Priority app, including a free coffee and sausage roll from Greggs.

Inclusive European Roaming

If you’re travelling abroad to one of 43 European destinations, you’ll be able to use your O2 Rolling plan allowances at no extra cost when you’re there. This includes the unlimited minutes and unlimited texts from your plan. You can also use your data abroad (up to a maximum of 25GB data per month).

For more information about what’s included, see O2’s guide to roaming in Europe.

Keeping Your Phone Number

It’s easy to keep your current phone number when you switch from another mobile network to O2’s Rolling plans.

Start off by ordering your new O2 Rolling plan SIM card.

Once you’ve done that, you can request a PAC Code from your old network. Simply text PAC to 65075. Alternatively, you can request a PAC through your mobile network’s website or app.

When your SIM card arrives, you can provide the PAC Code to O2 through this page on their website. Once you’ve done that, your phone number transfer will be scheduled (normally for the next working day).
