VOXI is offering endless video and 12GB data for £12 per month. It gives you unlimited data for streaming on YouTube, Prime Video, Netflix and more.
In the UK, VOXI has launched their 12GB data plan with endless video streaming and endless social media included for £12/month. The plan, which is available with no contract and no credit check, also gives you access to 5G coverage in 100 UK towns and cities.
The addition of endless video to VOXI’s £12 plan is particularly noteworthy as online video normally uses data very quickly (around 2-3GB for one hour of HD-quality streaming). You’ll get unlimited data for streaming on YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, My5, TVPlayer and UKTV Play.
In this article, we’ll review VOXI’s £12 plan. We’ll start by looking at what it includes and how to use endless video streaming and 5G on VOXI. We’ll also look at some of the other features of the plan including endless social media and 99% coverage from Vodafone. Finally, we’ll discuss how you can keep your current phone number when changing from another mobile network to VOXI.
VOXI 12GB Plan
Recently, VOXI have just launched their new £12 plan. It’s notable for giving you endless video which allows you to stream as much as you like from six services without it counting towards your allowance.
You’ll also get unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 12GB of data on the plan, along with endless social media and access to Vodafone’s 5G network.
& endless social + endless video
The plan is available on a one-month rolling basis with no contracts to sign or credit checks to undergo.
The 12GB allowance of general-purpose data is used for anything that isn’t covered by endless video or endless social media. If you’d like a plan with more general-purpose data, you can also choose VOXI’s £15 plan with 15GB of data or VOXI’s £20 plan with 45GB of data. VOXI also offers a £35 endless data plan.
Endless Video Streaming
VOXI’s new £12 plan is particularly noteworthy as it comes with endless video streaming on the following six apps and services:
- Amazon Prime Video
- UKTV Play
This means you can stream and watch as much video as you like on these services without worrying about how much data you’re using.
In our opinion, it’s a pretty significant deal as online video is responsible for more than 80% of all internet traffic in the UK. Normally, a HD-quality stream will use 2-3GB of data for each hour, increasing up to 7-10GB for each hour if you’re streaming ultra-HD (4K) video. As your online video streaming doesn’t count towards the 12GB limit, you’ll have more of your data leftover for use on other things.
It’s important to note that endless video streaming only includes your data usage associated with the service. It doesn’t include a paid subscription to the service where required (e.g. on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix). On services like YouTube, My5 and TVPlayer, there’s no subscription fee but the service may be supported by advertising.
5G on VOXI
In addition to endless video streaming, you’ll also have access to 5G coverage in 100 towns and cities when using a 5G-ready phone.
On 5G, you can benefit from average download speeds of 150-200Mbps. This is around five to ten times faster than 4G. You’ll also benefit from more network capacity and lower amounts of latency which gives you a more reliable service that’s faster to respond.
At present, VOXI offers 5G coverage in the following locations, powered by Vodafone’s 5G network:
|Now Live||100 towns and cities are live on VOXI 5G (July 2021)|

Other VOXI Benefits
Endless Social Media
VOXI’s £12 plan also includes endless social media. This gives you unlimited data for use on the following apps and services, without it counting towards your normal 12GB allowance:
- Facebook Messenger
Endless social media includes both the website and the app (e.g. so you can use either the Facebook website or app and it won’t count towards your 12GB allowance). However, data used through voice and video calls are not included, nor are links to external websites or other apps such as TikTok.
No Contract & No Credit Check
One major benefit is this means you’re able to change your VOXI price plan at any time (for instance, upgrading to a plan with more data or downgrading to a cheaper plan with less data).
You can also use a VOXI price plan if you don’t want the hassle of going through a credit check (it’s also perfect if you’re under-18 or if you’ve recently arrived in the UK). Because VOXI’s plans work on a Pay As You Go basis, it isn’t possible to run up unexpected charges outside of your inclusive allowance.
Before ordering your SIM card from VOXI, it’s worth checking to make sure there’s coverage in your area. You can do this by entering your postcode on VOXI’s online coverage map:
If you have a 5G-ready phone, you’ll also be able to access 5G coverage in 100 UK towns and cities.
Keeping Your Phone Number
If you’re changing from another mobile network to VOXI, it’s a straightforward process to keep your existing phone number.
Start by ordering your VOXI SIM card online. You can choose any plan costing £12 or more if you want access to endless video streaming and 5G on VOXI.
Once you’ve gotten a SIM card from VOXI, you can request a PAC Code from your old network. You can get one through your mobile network’s website or app, or by texting PAC to 65075. It’s free to get a PAC Code from your old network and once issued, your PAC Code will be valid for 30 days.
Once your new VOXI SIM card has arrived in the post, you’ll be able to log in to your VOXI account to submit your PAC Code. After doing this, your phone number transfer will normally be scheduled to take place on the next working day.
