In the UK, Lebara Mobile is offering 12-month SIM-only deals with a 10% discount compared to their one-month rolling plans. It means you can get a Lebara Mobile SIM card from just £4.50 per month.

When you choose a 12-month plan on Lebara, you’ll benefit from a fixed price for 12 months with no mid-term price rises. You’ll also get 4G & 5G coverage from Vodafone along with international minutes for calling 41 worldwide destinations. It’s possible to get an unlimited data plan from just £22.50 per month.

In the UK, Lebara Mobile now offers 12-month SIM-only plans, starting from £4.50 per month. You’ll benefit from a 10% discount compared to their normal one-month rolling plans, plus a fixed price for 12 months with no mid-term price rises.

Lebara Mobile Features

Save 10% On 12 Month Plans

When you sign up to a 12-month plan on Lebara Mobile, you’ll save an extra 10% compared to their normal one-month rolling plans. This means, for instance, the 5GB data plan is available for just £4.50 per month. This compares to a normal price of £5 per month if you were to choose a one-month rolling plan.

If you’re unsure how much data you need each month, you can still sign up to a 12-month plan on Lebara. This is because Lebara Mobile will allow you to switch to another 12-month plan if you like within the first 30 days (e.g. if you find you need more data or less data on your plan).

No Mid-Term Price Rises

Another benefit of signing up to a Lebara 12-month plan is their promise of “no mid-term price rises”. This means the price you pay and the allowances you receive are fixed for the 12-month period.

In contrast, most other mobile networks now have an annual price increase built in to their plan. This can be as much as CPI+3.9% (the rate of inflation plus an extra 3.9% each year). At present, this is forecast to give a price rise of around 7% early next year (this equivalent to an extra 70p/month on a £10 plan or an extra £1.40/month on a £20 plan).

No Credit Check

There’s no need to undergo a credit check when you sign up to a 12-month plan on Lebara. There’s also no need to set up a Direct Debit on your UK bank account – you simply provide them with your credit card, debit card or PayPal account details. Lebara will automatically take the payment for your plan at the start of each month from your saved card or PayPal account details.

As Lebara’s service works on a pre-paid basis, it isn’t possible to run up unexpected charges outside of your inclusive allowance. If you want to use your Lebara SIM card for additional calls or texts outside of your allowance, you can top-up your account with additional Pay As You Go credit.

4G & 5G Coverage From Vodafone

On Lebara Mobile, you’ll benefit from 4G and 5G coverage from Vodafone. This gives you 99% population coverage on 4G. You can also access 5G coverage if you’re using a 5G-ready phone on Lebara.

Inclusive International Minutes

You’ll get an inclusive allowance of international minutes included on your 12-month Lebara Mobile plan. This will be either 100 international minutes per month, 500 international minutes per month or unlimited international minutes depending on your plan.

Unlimited Data Plans

If you’re looking for an unlimited data plan, it’s possible to get this for £22.50 per month. This gives you unlimited UK data, unlimited UK minutes, unlimited UK texts and 100 international minutes.

If you regularly make international calls on your phone, you can upgrade this to a plan with unlimited international minutes for £27 per month.

According to Lebara Mobile, there are no fair usage policies or data caps for unlimited data usage in the UK. There is, however, a limit on how much data you’re able to use abroad at no extra cost when travelling in Europe (this is 14.1GB per month on the £22.50 plan and 16.9GB per month on the £27 plan). In addition, you can also roam at no extra cost when travelling In India, subject to a 10GB per month and 200 minutes fair use limit.

Keeping Your Phone Number

If you’re joining Lebara Mobile from another UK network, it’s a straightforward process to keep your current phone number.

Start by ordering your new 12-month plan on the Lebara Mobile website. Once you’ve done that, you can request a PAC Code from your old network. You can get a PAC through your mobile network’s website or app, or by texting PAC to 65075.

Once your Lebara Mobile SIM card has arrived in the post, you can submit your PAC Code online through this form on Lebara’s website. This will schedule the transfer of your phone number (normally for the next working day). You’ll also get an extra 5GB of data as a one-off reward for doing this.
