On top of the BT Broadband offers, BT has also discounted the price of their BT TV service. You can now get it from just £10 per month for the first 12 months. This price is available to new BT TV customers signing up on the Entertainment or Sport TV plan.

  • If you choose the BT TV Entertainment plan, you’ll get access to Sky’s premium entertainment channels including Sky Atlantic, Sky Max, Sky Showcase, Sky Witness, and more. This is available through the included NOW entertainment membership. You’ll also get a Netflix subscription included, along with AMC and a recordable TV box. After the first 12 months, the price will revert to £20 per month.

All BT TV plans now include the latest BT TV Box Pro. This is a small set-top box that connects to your broadband hub over wi-fi, allowing you to watch live TV without the need for an aerial. You can also pause, rewind and record live TV with enough space to store up to 600 hours of recordings on the box.

There’s a 24-month contract when you sign up for BT TV but all of the packages are flexible so you can change them at any time. For instance, you can swap from the Sport package to the Entertainment package when the football season ends, so you’re only paying for the channels you want to watch.

Switching to BT

If you’re currently using a different broadband provider, it’s easy to switch your service to BT.

Start by ordering your new BT service online to take advantage of their latest broadband and TV deals.

Once you’ve done that, BT will normally contact your old broadband provider for you. This will be to cancel the old service on your behalf. The main exception to this is if you’re a Virgin Media customer, in which case you’ll need to contact them directly to cancel.
