You can get the Three+ app if you’re a Three Pay Monthly mobile customer (this includes both Pay Monthly handset and Pay Monthly SIM customers). It’s also available if you’re a Three Pay As You Go customer, providing you’re over 18 and providing you top-up your phone with at least £10 of credit every 90 days.
Unfortunately, the Three+ app isn’t currently available to home broadband, mobile broadband and business customers on Three. However, Three say they’re currently “working on making it available to these customers soon”. It also isn’t possible to access the Three+ app if you’re a customer of SMARTY.

Other Three Features
Truly Unlimited Data Plans
If you choose one of Three’s unlimited data plans from £16 per month, you’ll get “truly unlimited data” with no speed caps or hidden download limits. This means you’ll always be able to get the fastest available download speeds in your area. You’ll also have access to 5G if your phone supports it and if there’s 5G coverage where you are.
Many other major mobile networks have a hidden fair usage policy or speed limit on their unlimited data plans.
On Three, you’ll get access to 5G at no extra cost on all mobile and SIM-only plans, providing you have a 5G-ready device.
According to Ookla, Three has the UK’s fastest 5G network. Based on Ookla speed tests carried out in the first half of 2021, Three had a median download speed of 222Mbps and a median upload speed of 14Mbps on 5G.
As well as giving you faster download speeds in more than 300 UK towns and cities, 5G also gives you more network capacity and a lower amount of latency.
On Three, you can use your mobile phone abroad for a fixed daily charge in 71 worldwide destinations. The charge is £2 per day when you’re travelling in Europe and £5 per day when you’re travelling in a Go Roam country outside Europe.
Until the 23rd May 2022, the daily charge for using Go Roam has been waived.
Keeping Your Phone Number
If you’re switching from another mobile network to Three, it’s a straightforward process to keep your current phone number.
Start by asking your current mobile network to give you a PAC Code. You can get one through your mobile network’s website or app, or by texting PAC to 65075. Once you’ve done that, you can order your new Pay Monthly phone or SIM card from Three’s website.
You can either give the PAC Code to Three when you order your phone or SIM card, or you can wait for it to arrive first before filling out this form online. Once you’ve given your PAC Code to Three, they’ll arrange the transfer of your phone number (normally for the next working day).
For step-by-step instructions on how to transfer your phone number to Three, please select your current mobile network from the drop-down menu below:
For further information about transferring your phone number between networks, see our guide to using a PAC Code.
