Alongside the 100GB data, you’ll get unlimited UK minutes, unlimited UK texts and 100 international minutes per month. You’re also able to use your plan at no extra cost when travelling in the EU (up to 30GB data per month).

Lyca Mobile’s 100GB per month SIM card normally retails at a full selling price of £20 per month. This has been reduced to £10 per month as a special Black Friday 2024 offer which ends on the 2nd December 2024.

If you’re looking for an alternative deal, Lyca Mobile also offers a range of 24-month contracts where you can get the first 3 months for free. There’s also a range of Pay As You Go deals where you can get a discounted price for the first 3 months.

Lyca Mobile Refer A Friend

Lyca Mobile has also launched a new Refer a Friend scheme where you can earn up to £50 for each person you refer to their mobile network. Your friends will also be able to get 3 months half price on their Lyca Mobile plan.

To give an example, you can earn £20 by referring a friend to Lyca Mobile’s 25GB per month plan. This is a Pay As You Go plan that normally costs £10 per month but they’ll be able to get it for just £5 per month for the first 3 months. You’ll be given a unique link to track your referrals, and the money will be paid straight to your bank account once they’ve been a customer for three months.

You can sign up for the Refer a Friend scheme through this page.

In addition to the widespread 4G coverage, there’s also 5G coverage available in more than 1,000 UK towns and cities (as long as you’re using a 5G-ready device).

If you’d like to check the coverage in your area before you order a Lyca Mobile SIM card, you can do this by entering your postcode on Lyca Mobile’s coverage map.

Price Freeze Promise

In contrast, if you’re a customer on one of the major UK networks, you can expect the price of your plan to increase every year. Depending on the mobile network, this annual price rise might be linked to inflation, or there might be a fixed increase of up to £1.80 per month each year. To give an example, a £10 plan from one of the major UK networks may increase to £13 per month by 2026.

eSIM Ready

If you’re signing up for Lyca Mobile’s 100GB for £10 deal, you’ll have the option to choose between a Physical SIM card or an eSIM.

If your smartphone supports eSIM technology, the “eSIM” option will allow you to get connected straight away. You’ll simply need to scan a barcode with your phone to get started – there’s no need to wait for a physical SIM card to arrive in the post.

Another benefit of getting your Lyca Mobile plan on an eSIM is the fact that most eSIM-ready phones allow you to use dual-SIM with eSIM. This means you can have two phone numbers and two mobile networks on your phone at the same time, with your Lyca Mobile eSIM working alongside a SIM card from another network.

Most modern smartphones now support eSIM technology (including the iPhone 11 and later, the Galaxy S20 and later, and the Google Pixel 3 and later).

Keeping Your Phone Number

If you’re switching to Lyca Mobile from another UK network, it’s a straightforward process to keep your current phone number.

Start by getting a PAC Code from your old mobile network. This will be available through your mobile network’s website or app, or by texting PAC to 65075.

Once you’ve done that, you can order your 100GB for £10 SIM on the Lyca Mobile website. This will need to be done before the 2nd December 2024. When you sign up, you’ll be able to give the PAC Code to Lyca. You can also specify a date for when your phone number will move over. Alternatively, you can start off with a temporary phone number, before submitting your PAC Code at a later date to complete the transfer.

For a step-by-step guide on how to transfer your phone number to Lyca Mobile, please select your current mobile network from the drop down menu below:
