Before selling their Like New phones, O2 takes a number of steps to ensure the quality of the device:

• All of the ‘Like New’ phones will have undergone at least 40 quality checks. There’s an extensive list of checks that are made on every single phone. It’s a detailed checklist that looks at everything from the camera to the display and the battery, making sure it’s all working as you’d expect. Although it’s possible there’ll be signs of wear on your Like New phone, it should be free of any deep dents or scratches.
• You’ll get at least 80% battery health on your Like New phone. That’ll keep you going as you browse, text and share on your phone throughout the day.
• All of the previous data will have been wiped securely. The device will have also been updated to the latest operating system, before the phone is re-packaged in an O2 box.
• You’ll get up to 3 years warranty. For peace of mind that your device will continue working as it should, you’ll get the same warranty as if you were buying a brand new phone from O2. That’s a 3-year warranty when you choose a Plus Plan, or a 1-year warranty on their standard plans.
• There’s 14 days to exchange or return your device. If you’re unhappy with the device for any reason, you’ll have 14 days to exchange or return it to O2.

Apart from that, you’ll get all of the normal benefits that you’ll get with any other smartphone from O2. This includes the ability to pay monthly for your phone over 36 months, and to choose a monthly rolling airtime plan to go with it.

Flexible Plans

Alongside your Device Plan, you’ll be able to choose a separate Airtime Plan, with data allowances ranging from 1GB to fully unlimited data. Keeping Your Phone Number

If you’re switching to O2, it’s easy to keep your current phone number.

To do so, you’ll need to request a PAC Code from your old mobile network. You can do this by texting PAC to 65075. Once you’ve done that, you can give the PAC Code to O2 – either when you’re ordering your plan online, or through this page after you sign up.

Once you’ve given the PAC Code to O2, your phone number transfer will normally be scheduled for the next working day.
