In the UK, there are currently more than 15 different home broadband providers. All of them will give you unlimited home broadband with an inclusive wi-fi router. You can choose from a range of plans that start from £17.99/month.
It’s easy to switch your home broadband provider and you’ll often be able to save some money. You might also be able to add some additional features like a guaranteed wi-fi signal in every room of your home or inclusive TV with your broadband. There are also faster full fibre broadband deals.

Broadband Providers
In the UK, there are currently more than 15 different home broadband providers you’re able to choose from.
Most broadband services are delivered using the Openreach network (previously known as BT Openreach). On these services, you’ll get your broadband delivered through an Openreach phone line (sometimes also known as a BT phone line). Around 99% of UK homes have access to an Openreach phone line.
On some other providers, your broadband service will be delivered using a separate fibre or cable connection. Broadband providers that use their own fibre or cable include Virgin Media (available in 53% of UK homes), Hyperoptic (available in 500,000 homes) and Community Fibre (available in 300,000 homes). You’ll need to check to see if these are available at your address.

Which Fibre Broadband & Phone providers give a PSTN (not a VOIP) phone line connection to subscribers.
providers via open reach seem to be pushing SOGEA adapters onto their new subscribers who want a “landline” broadband/phone contract
As well, have you any experience of 1p Mobiles broadband service with phone calls. Are their contracts also SOGEA Landline connections

Thanks for your comment. Great question – unfortunately, I’m not sure about 1pBroadband so it’s probably worth double checking this directly with them. However, all providers will eventually need to switch to SOGEA/Digital Voice by 2025 so it’s likely they’ll need to move over soon (if not already).
