Founder & Editor of Ken\u2019s Tech Tips<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ken is the founder and editor of Ken’s Tech Tips. <\/strong>He has been writing about consumer technology, including mobile phones and home broadband, since 2005. During that time, he has written and published more than 1,000 in-depth guides, responding to more than 5,000 reader questions and comments in the process. He has also reported on the latest developments from a number of industry events such as Mobile World Congress<\/a>.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the website covers every aspect of mobile technology and broadband in the UK, Ken is most excited about the roll-out of full fibre (FTTP) technology<\/a>, along with 5G mobile networks<\/a> and eSIM technology<\/a>. Together with the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart home devices, he believes they’ll transform the way we live and communicate over the next decade.<\/p>\n

Ken has a Masters in Physics from Imperial College London<\/a>, where he specialised in optical communications. At Imperial, his research looked at how we can protect essential telecommunications infrastructure from adverse space weather events such as geometric storms.<\/p>\n

Outside of the blog, Ken has an interest in digital analytics, data science, and front-end web development. He has consulted for a number of technology start-ups across London in industries such as finance, property, travel and retail.<\/p>\n
