During the sign-up process, EE will give you the expected go-live date for your service. Typically, this will be in around two weeks time. Until then, your current service will continue so there&#8217;ll be minimal disruption.<\/p>\n<p>On the go-live date for your new EE broadband service, you&#8217;ll need to plug in your new EE Smart Hub to complete the switchover process. In addition, if you&#8217;re upgrading to full fibre (FTTP) broadband for the very first time, you may need an engineer visit to connect you to the full fibre network.<\/p>\n<p>Typically, your old broadband service will be cancelled automatically so there&#8217;s no need to separately contact your old broadband provider.
