  • My lyca sim card has expired recently. So its not functioning anymore. Is it possible to buy a new lyca sim card and transfer my old number?

    • Hi Arefa,
Thanks for your comment. Sadly, it normally won’t be possible to do this if your old phone number has already been deactivated by Lycamobile. However, it might be worth giving them a call in case they’re able to restore it for you.

  • Hi there. I am currently Lyca UK customer. I plan to be in Ireland (Dublin) for next 1 year. Can I trf my Lyca UK no. to Lyca Ireland no.?

    Regards
    Aki

    • Hi Aki,
Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, it’s only possible to transfer your phone number to another SIM card based in the UK. Unfortunately, this means you won’t be able to transfer your phone number from Lycamobile UK to Lycamobile Ireland.

  • My network provider is lycamobile but suddenly Gt mobile has taken over which i don’t understand. I have a bundle on this number and i can not access the Internet. I have call the customer service several times to sort it out but the problem is still not solve. Almost three day now I don’t have data on my phone. What can I do? Thank
    Jane

    • Hi Jane,
Thanks for your comment. Lycamobile and GT Mobile are actually owned by the same company, but I’m not quite sure why you’ve suddenly changed from one brand to the other. It really does sound like an internal issue, which you’ll need to resolve directly with Lycamobile.
Sorry I couldn’t be of any more help,
      Ken

  • I am using old Lyca SIM card I am gonna use iPhone how can I get the new sim in same old number I ask that shop to cut my sim they said my SIM card is very old if we cut some time not gonna wrk help me plz

    • Hi there,
Thanks for your comment. You’ll only actually need a PAC Code when moving your phone number from one network to another. As you’re actually staying on the Lycamobile network, you just need to replace your current SIM card. You can see this article for more information, though in short: you should contact Lycamobile Customer Services on 322 to get yourself a new SIM card.
      Hope this helps,
      Ken

  • Hi,
at the moment I have a micro-sim from Lyca. I bought a new iPhone now which requires nano-sim. I know that I can request a new sim for free on the website, but this will give me a new number.. How can I get a new card with the same old number, i.e. simply replace it? Can I possibly do that in one of the tiny stores that sell lyca-sims? Or is cutting the sim by myself really the only option? :-/

    thanks you 🙂
